Would you like to launch your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Torrance site is looking for a new Warehouse Specialist to join our Air Logistics team.

Your Role

You'll work under a supervisor, handling various tasks like receiving, sorting, picking, packing, and dispatching orders to streamline distribution operations.

Your Responsibilities

• Utilize warehouse equipment for unloading, moving, and storing materials; includes loading goods for distribution.
• Verify incoming materials, mark and inventory packages, and maintain records for storage or transit1.
• Work from pick sheets to pull products, verify orders, and pack according to standards.
• Follow procedures for handling dangerous goods and adhere to regulations by OSHA, DOT, EPA, etc.
• Perform tasks requiring lifting up to 50 pounds and pallet stacking.
• Keep the warehouse clean and free of debris at all times.
• Process ‘bonded’ cargo and hazardous materials as per guidelines, with necessary certification.
• Report to Air Logistics Warehouse manager
• Schedule: 5 days consecutive days 4pm-12am

Your Skills and Experiences

• High School or Technical degree
• 2+ Years experience in a warehouse position 
• 2+ years' experience working with a forklift and pallet stacking 
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Proficiency in basic computer operations, including data entry, email communication, and navigating software interfaces

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles.
