Job Description

This is a hybrid in-office/work from home position in Post Falls, Idaho.

Are you a second-career, public service, or business minded attorney ready to leave behind the politics and red tape of large law firms? We’re seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial-minded lawyer eager to plant roots and make a meaningful impact. This is a rare opportunity to join a practice that values community, autonomy, and real-world problem-solving—especially for the small businesses that form the backbone of our neighborhoods. If you’re looking to grow with purpose, serve with integrity, and help local businesses thrive, we’d love to hear from you.

Skepsis Legal Solutions is looking for an experienced business law attorney (3-10 years, transactional and/or litigation) ready to make the world a better place, one amazing business at a time.  We are building community by supporting our high-profile, locally-based business owners in the Coeur d'Alene/Spokane area.  We're eager to support you in elevating your career, as well as your work-life balance.  Our agile legal team empowers local businesses to navigate the legal landscape with confidence, with creative and proven business models like flat fees and subscriptions that our clients love.  Successful candidates will have a partially developed client base (around 30% full), with the drive to expand their practice alongside a team that’s invested in your success.

Our first-class team of attorneys and staff is committed to excellence, efficiency, and building lasting relationships with our clients, in both our transactional and litigation practices.  We prioritize collaboration, innovation, and a supportive work environment to foster growth and success.  In your cover letter, please explain how you see your future role at Skepsis Legal making the world a better place, as well as addressing why Spokane/CDA is the place for you.

Opportunities and Responsibilities:  We are eager to elevate our attorneys with high-profile cases, real responsibilities, a clear path to partnership, and life-friendly billing requirements.  The community-transforming legal work that you will be spearheading will include:

  • Manage a diverse caseload, providing superior legal advice to clients in all various areas of business law.  Highest consideration will be given to attorneys with experience in the medical and food and beverage industries.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support legal strategies, negotiations, litigation, and make-or-break business decisions.
  • Draft legal documents, pleadings, contracts, letters, and other documents for internal and external audiences.

  • Provide exceptional client service.
  • Participate in regular networking events and develop new business opportunities with the firm’s support and training.
  • Stay up to date with legal developments and relevant industry trends.
  • Attend industry conferences in fun and exciting locations if desired and as approved by the firm.

  • Eager to develop a long and successful career with Skepsis Legal Solutions.
