Bald Head Coffee Co. + Market Supervisor
Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities
- Create a Play Call before every shift to determine which employee is in which position and when employees get their breaks
- Delegate duties to employees to ensure all daily/weekly tasks are completed promptly and to the standard set by the General Manager
- Ensure all policies, procedures, and practices implemented by the General Manager are enforced and adhered to in the absence of the General Manager
- Ensuring all food and drink items are disposed of when out of date
- Ensure milk counts, pastry counts, and temperature checks are completed and accurate
- Inventory spot checks as assigned by General Manager
- Count received orders and compare to order sheet. Must report any discrepancies to the General Manager
- Train or oversee the training of new hires to the standards set by Cliff House Maine and the General Manager
- Counting the cash drawer every night to ensure the count is accurate
- Must report any concerns pertaining to policy adherence, cash handling negligence, employee performance, etc. to the General Manager
- Must step in to handle any guest issues or complaints and must handle the situation with great care and grace. Must be able to resolve guest complaints in a manner that is correct for the guest and the business OR know to defer to the General Manager if needed
- May be occasionally responsible for minor Manager duties in the absence of the General Manager such as counting inventory and inputting orders
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must have all the knowledge and experience required of barista and trainer.
