Welcome to Divisions 6400 & 6500, where we specialize in trauma, geriatric trauma, and acute care surgery nursing. With a combined capacity of 63 beds, our dedicated nurses provide exceptional care to patients facing a range of traumatic injuries, including:

• Motor vehicle accidents
• Gunshot wounds
• Stab injuries
• Traumatic amputations
• Fall injuries
• Burns
• Fractures
• Spinal cord injuries
• Traumatic brain injuries

Position Type: Full-time, Onsite

Role Overview

As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational and practice programs for our clinical staff. Your efforts will enhance the patient experience for both patients and their families. You will coordinate and manage house-wide educational programs that empower clinical educators and leaders at the unit and department levels.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Managing key house-wide or multidepartmental programs to support the educational needs of clinical staff.
• Developing, implementing, and evaluating continuing education programs and curriculums that meet or exceed national standards.
• Collaborating with administration, patient care services, leadership, and key personnel to develop education plans that align with patient care and regulatory requirements.
• Analyzing developmental and educational needs while evaluating the effectiveness of educational activities.
• Designing cost-effective educational programs tailored to adult learners based on sound educational principles.

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Master’s Degree
• Experience: 2-5 years in a relevant field
• Supervisor Experience: None required
• Licenses & Certifications: RN or RRT

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: Master’s Degree
• Experience: 5-10 years in a relevant field
• Licenses & Certifications: Certification/Licensure in Area of Expertise
