Position : Data Analyst

Working Schedule : 8a-5p or 9a-6p EST

Salary Range :$1,900 - $3,400 USD Monthly (the final salary will be determined by the candidate's level of experience and at the discretion of the client)

Job Summary:

Our client is a software, data, and research company partnering with health & wellness

brands, universities, and government agencies. We’ve built a remote study management

platform that engages participants to collect real‑world data on product use and performance

over weeks or months. Our team transforms that data into in‑depth reports highlighting product

efficacy, statistically significant outcomes, and interaction models.

Project Overview

We’re seeking a statistician/data analyst to work under our Lead Statistician. You’ll help process

study data, run analyses in (preferably) R and/or Python, and contribute to polished, insightful

data reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Lead Statistician on advanced data cleaning, validation, and exploratory analysis with longitudinal datasets
• Implement basic statistical tests and modeling (e.g., paired t‑tests, regression)
• Regularly utilize longitudinal models (e.g., longitudinal and generalized mixed‑effects models, multi-level models)
• Visual display of raw longitudinal data (e.g., bar charts, boxplots) and statistical model output (e.g., scatterplots with predicted regression lines,) in (preferably) R or Python
• Help generate reproducible tables, visualizations, and narrative summaries for client data reports using Rquarto/Rmarkdown
• Explore and integrate AI tools (e.g., ML libraries, LLMs) to streamline analysis workflows
• Document analysis pipelines and maintain reproducible code
• Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and take initiative on new tasks

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s or PhD in Statistics, Data Science, Biostatistics, or related field
• Proficiency in R or Python for data wrangling and data analysis
• 5+ years of prior experience creating data reports or research summaries
• Previous experience using Rquarto or Rmarkdown
• Familiarity with integrating AI/ML tools into analysis pipelines (preferred)
• Keen eye for detail and precision
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self‑starter with a passion for problem‑solving and continuous learning
• Comfortable in a dynamic, fast‑paced work environment
