Summary of the Job:
To join our team, we are looking for a driven and meticulous Data Entry Specialist I. You will be in charge of precisely entering, updating, and maintaining data in our databases in this entry-level role. Assisting our teams with information management and maintaining data integrity will be important tasks for you. Principal Duties:
- Enter data into the organization's databases and systems with accuracy.
- Examine and confirm the completeness and accuracy of the data.
- As needed, add additional information to existing files and records.
- Participate in data validation and cleansing initiatives.
- Preserve well-organized documentation and guarantee the privacy of important data.
- Compile and produce reports in response to management's requests.
- Work together as a team to enhance workflows and data entry procedures.
- Answer questions about data and help resolve any problems pertaining to data.
- Carry out other administrative duties as delegated.
Abilities:
- Strong typing and data entry abilities (minimum 40 WPM).
- Strong precision and attention to detail.
- Outstanding time-management and organizing abilities.
- An understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Access).
- Knowledge with databases or data management software is advantageous.
- Strong verbal and writing communication abilities.
- The capacity to function both individually and together.
- Proactive task-taking and problem-solving abilities.
Experience and Education:
- A high school degree or its equivalent is required; an associate's degree is desirable.
- Prior administrative or data entry expertise is preferred but not necessary.
- It is advantageous to have a basic understanding of data management concepts.
