These opportunities are in preparation for future occurrences. We are actively recruiting Physicians to support emergency and disaster relief operations, including natural disasters, humanitarian crises, disease outbreaks, and mass casualty events. Physicians will be deployed to affected regions to provide immediate medical care, stabilize patients, manage triage and trauma cases, and support overwhelmed healthcare systems. This role requires flexibility, resilience, and a commitment to serving populations in crisis.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver urgent and acute medical care to affected individuals in high-pressure, resource-limited settings.
Triage and manage a wide range of medical conditions, including trauma, infection, dehydration, chronic disease exacerbation, and mental health crises.
Support public health initiatives and disease surveillance during outbreaks.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, paramedics, logistics personnel, and federal or NGO partners.
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate medical information efficiently under crisis conditions.
Adhere to safety protocols and follow local, state, and federal emergency guidelines.
Provide leadership and mentoring to junior staff or volunteers if needed.
Requirements:
Medical Degree (MD/DO) from an accredited institution.
Board Certification in the providers respective specialty
Active, unrestricted medical license in Louisiana or Arizona (multi-state or compact license preferred).
BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certification required (PALS/NRP may be required based on deployment).
Prior experience in disaster relief, military medicine, urgent care, or emergency response is highly preferred.
Must be able to work in austere environments with limited infrastructure.
Willingness to deploy on short notice and work extended hours in challenging conditions.
Must pass federal background check and/or obtain disaster response clearance if applicable.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with FEMA, DMAT, Red Cross, or similar emergency response organizations.
Multilingual abilities.
Prior international or humanitarian aid experience.
Public health or infectious disease background.
