Job Title: Full Stack Developer (Java, Spring Boot, Reactive Spring[Webflux], GraphQL)

Job Location: Mississauga, ON Hybrid

Job Type: Fulltime



Job Summary:
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Reactive Spring (WebFlux), and GraphQL to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance, event-driven applications with modern front-end technologies, and integrating APIs for rich client experiences.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end web applications using Java and modern front-end frameworks.
  • Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs with Spring Boot and Reactive Spring (WebFlux).
  • Build non-blocking, asynchronous services using Reactive Programming.
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers to integrate APIs with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Use unit tests, integration tests, and test-driven development (TDD) to ensure code quality.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data validation.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployments and CI/CD pipelines.


Required Skills:
  • 4+ years of experience in Java development with strong proficiency in Spring Boot.
  • Practical knowledge of Reactive Spring (WebFlux) and Project Reactor (Mono, Flux).
  • Strong experience building and consuming GraphQL APIs (e.g., Netflix DGS, graphql-java, Apollo).
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and service integration.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JS frameworks (React.js preferred).
  • Experience with build tools: Maven/Gradle, Webpack.
  • Familiarity with databases: SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), NoSQL (MongoDB).
  • Understanding of OAuth2, JWT, security best practices.
  • Experience using Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
