Description A respected full-service litigation firm is seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to support their San Francisco-based team as they prepare for a busy trial calendar this summer. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned paralegal with strong civil litigation experience to step into a high-impact role with long-term potential. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will support a team of attorneys handling high-exposure civil matters across California. This role offers a mix of substantive legal work and trial preparation, and is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment. The firm is ideally seeking a local contract-to-hire candidate who is able to report onsite in San Francisco, but are willing to consider fully remote schedules for California-based candidates. Key Responsibilities: + Draft and format legal documents including pleadings, discovery, motions, and subpoenas + Support all phases of trial preparation, including document review and organization + Conduct legal research and summarize findings + Maintain and manage case files, calendars, and deadlines + Communicate with attorneys, court personnel, and clients + Track billable hours in accordance with firm requirements Requirements Qualifications: + 3-5+ years of CA-based experience as a Paralegal, supporting Civil Litigation matters + Trial support and motion practice experience strongly preferred + Familiarity with legal software tools and case management systems + Strong writing, research, and organizational skills + Comfortable working independently in a remote environment + Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience + Prior experience supporting defense-side litigation highly preferred + Ability to meet billable expectations and multitask in a deadline-driven setting Qualified and interested candidates based in California are encouraged to apply today.
