Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to support prototype development for tool housings, motor mounts, test fixtures, and other precision components. This role involves working with both CNC and non-CNC equipment, requiring expertise in machining, measurement, and fabrication techniques. Familiarity with 3D printing technologies is highly desirable.

What you will be doing:

• Operate CNC and manual machining tools to build prototypes.
• Use measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) for precision work.
• Safely operate drill presses, lathes, mills, band saws, and sand blasters.
• Program CNC machines with Conversational or G-Code methods.
• Utilize MasterCam or equivalent for CAD design.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School diploma/GED (Associate’s preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in machining/model making.
• Strong understanding of SAE (Imperial) and Metric dimensions.
• Ability to hold ±0.002” tolerances on machining equipment.

Preferred:

• AAS in Industrial/Manufacturing Technology.
• Experience with 3D printing, welding (MIG/TIG), and sheet metal fabrication.
