One of our clients, an established oncology office, is seeking a part-time Oncology Infusion Nurse to join their team.

The position offers a set schedule of 10-hour shifts for 2-4 days per week, based on the candidate’s preference.

Contract Type : Part-Time Direct Hire (W2)
Location: 48314 MI (On-Site)
Salary: $35-40/hr, depending on previous experience.

Job Description:
The Oncology Infusion Nurse will administer outpatient infusion therapies, monitor patient responses, and coordinate with the lab and other care providers to support seamless patient care.

Responsibilities & duties:

• Schedule and manage patient appointments in line with physician assignments.
• Welcome patients, explain procedures, check vitals, administer therapy, and report observations to physicians.
• Handle emergency situations with external assistance if necessary.
• Administer infusion treatments, including hydration, blood products, and medications.
• Maintain records for both physician review and billing.

Required Qualifications:

• Michigan State-licensed RN. (Skilled LPNs may be considered)
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, including infusion therapy.
• Oncology experience required.

• Strong critical thinking, organized and punctual.
• Able to work independently.
• Organized manner to maintain schedule and generate reports in a timely fashion.
• Reassuring manner to deal with patients of all ages.
