Job Description

Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Product Owner to join our expanding B2B SaaS team. In this role, you will assist the Product team in prioritising, developing, and launching product features, while gaining hands-on experience in product management. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives that address customer needs and align with business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in defining and maintaining the product roadmap by prioritising features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on customer feedback and business goals.
  • Help manage the product backlog by collecting, organising, and documenting user stories, defining requirements, and working with the development team to ensure timely task completion.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of product development. Communicate product requirements clearly to ensure alignment across teams.
  • Support the collection of customer feedback through surveys, user testing, and direct conversations. Ensure the product team is aligned with customer pain points and evolving needs.
  • Assist in tracking and analysing product performance metrics, such as user engagement and retention, to identify areas for improvement and new feature development.
  • Help create and maintain detailed product documentation, including user stories, requirements, release notes, and FAQs, ensuring clarity for all stakeholders.
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, supporting the team in refining product features and ensuring goals are met efficiently.
  • Assist in coordinating and executing product launches, including writing release notes, preparing internal teams, and ensuring timely product delivery.

About You:

  • 2+ years of experience in product management, project management, or a related role (preferably within a B2B SaaS environment).
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product goals, requirements, and timelines to cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) and experience in fast-paced environments.
  • Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Basic experience with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Confluence, etc.) is a plus.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, able to work effectively with various teams and contribute to a positive, productive environment.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow in the product management field, with a passion for SaaS products.
  • Experience within a support role is beneficial

This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience, work on impactful projects, and contribute to the success of a rapidly growing B2B SaaS company. If you are driven, eager to learn, and ready to take on new challenges, we’d love to hear from you!

About Transvirtual:

TransVirtual is a modern SaaS business, delivering industry-leading logistics solutions.

Inspired by his family’s involvement in the transport industry, our founder set out to build a truly configurable Transport Management System (TMS) that could adapt to the diverse needs of this sector. We’ve built on our unique selling point of configurability by developing a deep network which allows transport businesses to process more data, more effectively, through extensive integrations.

Today we have evolved our product set beyond TMS and offer a complete logistics solution, expanding beyond Australia into New Zealand, USA and Canada.

Our culture is built on our values of accountability, empathy and integrity. We ensure strategic alignment through clear goals set using OKRs. We thrive on positive, consistent, and collaborative communication, necessary for a hybrid-multi located business. We support that through Monthly all hands meetings and quarterly Workshops including Retros.

We’re always looking for outstanding candidates to join us as Technology, Logistics and Growth experts. So, if you’re excited by this opportunity, we’d love to hear from you!
