Premier Placements is currently interviewing for 1st and 2nd Shift Production Supervisor opportunities with a well-established food manufacturing company located in the Ponca City, OK area. As a Production Supervisor you will be responsible for taking a hands-on approach in providing leadership and coordination of activities related to maintaining and monitoring production processes and procedures. The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the hourly workforce carries out their assignments in a manner consistent with the expectations of the company with regard to food and plant safety, quality, productivity, and cleanliness.The Production Supervisor will be overseeing a team of up to 24 production associates and 1 Line Lead. Supervisors will work 8-10h shifts and must be flexible to work weekends if needed. Some Reloc ation Assistance provided!

Base Salary: $70,000 / year + up to 14% yearly bonus incentive!!!

Responsibilities:

• Monitor quality checks to meet quality goals to ensure product quality and food safety standards are met to reduce / eliminate risk to the organization.
• Direct hourly associates in risk management and safety needs to ensure the protection of employees and other individuals minimizing the organizations exposure to loss and liability.
• Actively support all employee and labor relations activities to increase employee engagement. Lead and direct daily employee activities to include training, and goal setting.
• Supports General Plant Safety, Food Safety, Food Defense initiatives and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Coordinates, maintains, and monitors production processes and procedures. Manages the production process (time, temperature, procedures).
• Supervises, trains and coaches hourly lead and production associates. Implements Company and plant procedures and policies.
• Coordinates workflow with all other departments as well as equipment repair with maintenance.
• Maintains records for all phases of production relative to safety, food safety, key performance indicators, orders completion and personnel and/or labor related issues.
• May conduct in-house audits/checks and quality control checks.
• Take appropriate action to ensure the integrity and sustained certification of the Food Safety and Quality systems.
• Responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring.
• Actively involved in the attainment of all operational goals (yield, efficiency, uptime, labor cost, etc.) to provide the best possible conversion cost to our customers.

Requirements :

• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• 3+ years of experience as a Production Supervisor in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Previous Food Manufacturing experience is a plus!
• Must enjoy working hands-on and have the ability to coach, train, and develop current and new employees.
• Must have knowledge of KPI's and how to track them.
• People Oriented Leadership ability to motivate and help all teams achieve their goals
