Job Description

Position Overview

We areseekinga motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our Medical Affairs team. This role will support various research projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and advancing medical knowledge. The ideal candidate will be passionate about medical research, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to a dynamic team.

Responsibilities
  • Assistin the preparationof research reports, presentations,posters, abstracts,and publications
  • Conduct proofreading, formatting, and data validation forresearchand publications deliverables
  • Submitscientific manuscripts and conference abstractsthrough therelevantonline portal, ensuring accuracy and completeness of submissions
  • Coordinate meetings between internaland/orexternalinvestigatorsandteam memberson research and publications projectsto ensure seamless collaboration
  • Managereviewand approvalof publication deliverablesthroughtheappropriate platform(VeevaMedComms, Arena, DocuSign,email,etc.)
  • Assistthe real-world evidence research team inmaintainingdocumentation for internal research projects
  • Participate inresearch projects as assigned, andmaintainaccuraterecords of research findings and manage research documentation
  • Conduct literature reviews and prepare reports on findings to support manuscripts andclinical studydesign
  • Maintain the team bibliography,sharedreferencelibrary(EndNote or similar), andshareddirectory of past presentations and publications
  • Provide support for team conference activities, such asbookingmeeting rooms, coordinatingmeetings withkey opinion leaders, coordinatingad boards,and supportingconferencenotetakingand reportdevelopment
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards in all research activities.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or its foreign equivalent isrequired
  • A post-secondary degree (e.g.Master's)in a sciencefieldor public healthis highly preferred
  • 1-2years of related experienceina research position at amedical device or biotechnology company,clinical research organization, or research institution(or theequivalent education andexperience)
