Job Description

Role Overview 

The Scrum Master is a role responsible for ensuring the squad lives Agile values and principles and follows the processes and practices that the wider tribe agreed to use. Helps to create an environment of collaboration, transparency, and trust. Most importantly, tracks engineering process and maintain accurate detailing of all information/artefacts necessary for high visibility of squad’s planned/ongoing work. 

This role reports to Delivery Manager and collaborates with other Scrum Masters within the tribe to ensure alignment of SDLC process and Ways of Working. 

This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. You and your manager will agree on the best working pattern that suits both of you. We’ll kit you out to work remotely, but we know that collaboration is key to our success, and spending quality time together helps us stay aligned with our mission.

What you'll do:

Highlight, identify, and remove inefficiencies, impediments and barriers within the Agile squad and between the Agile squad and stakeholders; 

Facilitate and drive various Agile events including Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Retrospectives and ensure the team uses them to inspect and adapt; 

Maintain a strong commitment to delivery and a sense of urgency to meet and exceed incremental forecasts and overall delivery objectives; 

Understand and coach team to properly plan capacity for upcoming sprints 

Track Sprint metrics: velocity, burndown, sprint completion, throughput, etc.; 

Organize work in JIRA/Confluence to create high visibility for other stakeholders in company; 

Drive cross-squad alignment sessions to coordinate plans and dates; 

Be relentless in making the SDLC process better; 

Related duties as assigned. 

What you'll bring:

2+ years of proven experience as a Scrum Master/ Agile Coach/ Agile Delivery Lead in software development teams 

Demonstrated success in serving 1–2 cross-functional Scrum teams in a product-driven environment 

Experience with remote, collocated, or hybrid teams and adapting Scrum accordingly 

Proven ability to drive Agile adoption and maturity across teams or departments 

Comfortable using Jira, Confluence, and other Agile management tools to track delivery and improve team transparency 

Standard Qualifications:

Deep understanding of Scrum values, roles, and artifacts 

Good grasp of Kanban practices and ability to blend methodologies when needed 

Excellent facilitation and conflict-resolution skills 

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills 

Ability to coach teams on Agile principles and foster a culture of self-organization 

Fluent in English and Georgian  

Preferable Qualifications:

Experience in a product-based company with frequent deployments and iterative releases 

Background in technical project delivery or familiarity with software engineering concepts 

Exposure to Scaled Agile environments 

Understanding of regulatory or domain-specific constraints in Agile delivery for iGaming industry 

Understanding of business process modeling and ability to diagram; 

Advanced knowledge of JIRA: JQL, Reporting, various plugin usage etc. 

Certification:

Mandatory: CSM or PSM I 

Preferred: PSM II, A-CSM, SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), PSK, SPS
