We are an online marketplace for high-quality refurbished tech. Customers can discover and purchase smartphones, laptops, tablets, headphones, and more for 30 70% less than new. Each one of our devices comes with a one-year warranty and 30-day no-questions-asked returns.
While 90% of consumers report being aware of refurbished as a category, and 60% claim they are confident in the quality of the tech, less than half of those customers actually choose to purchase refurbished over new.
We are opening our first physical pop-up store to give our customers the chance to touch and experience the quality of refurbished tech in person - to convince them that refurbished is better than new!
Our store will be a combination of a showroom and retail space. We are seeking an experienced store manager to partner with our local corporate headquarters to manage the store's daily operations and share in our ambition to understand how this store can complement our online business and drive more sales.
About the Role:
We are seeking a Store Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit and curiosity to help us test and learn what a successful store experience looks like for a leading refurbished tech marketplace. This role will be less about the number of units sold each day and more focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience and gathering business insights that will help shape our retail strategy.
The Store Manager is first and foremost an ambassador for our brand, prioritizing customer service above all else. You must know, embody, and actively communicate our mission and values to every customer.
You will be responsible for directly managing a cross-functional retail sales team, overseeing the daily operations of the store, and collaborating closely with our corporate office on inventory management, merchandising, in-store programming, and providing detailed feedback on customer behavior and questions.
