Salmon is a remote mountain town in the heart of the Intermountain West. We are 3 hours from the nearest Wal-Mart! Our local culture is pre-Christian and heavily influenced by the LDS Church. SVBC is a church planting church and a missional church where you will have heavy exposure to church that is culturally very different from the south. As an intern, you will work directly with our church staff in day-to-day church and community ministry. We are not looking for a special skill set. We will work with you to develop a summer of ministry that fits your gifting and interests. You will have opportunities to lead ministries related to your passion. It would be good to have a student that is exploring a call to ministry, but not required.
