Location: Tehachapi, CA (Relocation Required if Not Local)

Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year (Based on Experience)

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Chef with a minimum of three (3) years of professional culinary experience, ideally with a strong background in Italian cuisine. The ideal candidate is reliable, passionate about food, able to manage a team, and committed to delivering high-quality dishes consistently.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and food preparation

• Prepare and execute a variety of Italian dishes with attention to taste and presentation

• Manage kitchen staff, scheduling, and training

• Monitor food inventory and maintain stock levels

• Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met

• Collaborate on seasonal menus and special offerings

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years professional experience as a chef (Italian cuisine preferred)

• Strong knowledge of Italian ingredients, cooking techniques, and menu planning

• Excellent leadership, time management, and organizational skills

• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Must be currently residing in or willing to relocate to Tehachapi, CA

Compensation:

Salary range is $40,000 to $50,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Ownership opportunity after 2 years.
